How to prepare your car for summer
Its time for some spring cleaning a good wash and wax is in order to make your investment shine. Make sure when you wash your car you use car wash and not dish detergent. Dish detergent is strong and can take off the clear coat of new cars, when washing don’t forget the wheel wells and under carriage we want to get all that road salt off. Avoid automatic car washes with brushes these brushes leave tiny scratches in the paint. The door sills mostly likely will need to be cleaned too. A carnauba wax is best for newer cars as it is natural and gentle. If you have an order car with faded paint you may want to have a professional buff the paint out what this does is remove a small amount of paint on the surface so it looks like you have a new paint job.
It’s also time to have a tune up and have the cooling system flushed out. The air conditioning may need a charge as well its best to have a professional do these things as your car or truck may need other work done as well. Have a shop you trust look over the car and they will tell you what it may need. If your check engine soon light is on have it checked it could be costing you in the long run.
